Our Origin
Founded in 2024 by Dr. Avinash Shedge – a veterinarian and Master in Sustainable Aquaculture (Nord University, Norway) – Samthan Shedge was born from a deep concern for the oceans.
Witnessing the distress of Atlantic salmon in aquaculture systems, Dr. Shedge realized a profound truth:
“to protect aquatic life, we must heal the water they live in.”
This vision led to the creation of a company with sustainability at its core—dedicated to becoming the one-stop solution for water health and environmental resilience, from aquaculture to open oceans.

Samudra Manthan – Our Inspiration
In Indian mythology, Samudra Manthan – the “churning of the ocean” – tells the timeless story of gods and demons working together to churn the cosmic sea in search of hidden treasures and the nectar of immortality.
The process was arduous, full of turbulence and trials, but it yielded gems, medicines, and divine energy that changed the world forever.
At Samthan Shedge, this is more than legend—it is the philosophy that guides us. Just as the ocean was churned to separate what was harmful from what was precious, we harness science and innovation to separate threats—algae, bacteria, fungi, parasites, and biofilms—from what sustains life and balance in aquatic ecosystems.
